Philosophizing about God and Some Mythology

I personally view God as the energy in the trees and the rivers and mountains and been and so on. Connections between people are also godlike in my eyes. God is a vastly intricate web of knowledge, mystery, and emotion. My personal understanding of God does not exclude deities of any religion (yes, that includes monotheistic religions as well). If Gods are energy and connection, why wouldn't they be interpreted differently by different cultures? How could there be any incorrect interpretation of god if god encompasses everything?
The Story of Persephone – Bonearrow
Persephone
I've often wondered if God listens to me and I've come to the (potentially temporary) conclusion that God listens to me in the same way my dreams listen to my experiences (sorry for the abstract metaphor; I couldn't think of anything better). Not fully sentient, or at least not collectively. I love Adoni because they have cradled me through life from a distance. I love the polytheistic pantheons because they leave so much room for fault. With all that being said, these are some gods from polytheistic religions that I vibe with:
  • Persephone (Greek Pantheon) - the one with the pomegrantites and tragic backstory.
  • Loki (Norse Pantheon) - the trickster one who's morally gray and genderfluid.
  • Aphrodite (Greek Pantheon) - the love one who rose from the sea and terrifies me to no end.
I wanted to write biographies for them but I'm very tired today.
